Projektinfo
The German machine manufacturer ARBURG is one of the world's leading manufacturers of injection moulding machines and additive manufacturing systems for plastics processing. ARBURG machines are used to produce high-quality plastic parts, such as electronic components, packaging, clothes hangers, components for cars, for household appliances or for medical technology, or toothbrushes and even Lego bricks. The newly presented 3D production system provides further scope for the creativity of product developers. However, ARBURG machines not only mould plastics, metal or ceramics can also be shaped.
Since April 2014, the success story of the Black Forest family-owned company can be experienced in the completely redesigned "Evolution" at ARBURG's headquarters in Lossburg. On around 770 square meters of exhibition space, trade visitors can experience the company's history interactively - from the founding period in 1923, when the company manufactured precision medical instruments, to the development of the first injection moulding machine for overmoulding the plug contacts of flash units to prevent rust formation, right up to the present day.
